On June 28th, 2023 New York Life Gallery celebrated the publication of three new photography zines. Our first zine features the work of Daniel Arnold, the New York-based street photographer whose online cult following has evolved into a career spanning editorial projects, photojournalism for the New York Times, and, most recently, his monograph, “Pickpocket." We’re excited to be the first to publish the work of Sam Penn, whose cinematic and intimate photographs were recently featured at OCD Chinatown gallery. Our third zine revisits the work of the late Victor Arimondi, whose portraits of his gay community in the 1970s and 80s find renewed significance today. In curating these three bodies of work, we look forward to bringing these artists into a dialogue and invite their respective audiences to join in during our launch event.
